The deal
CodexaX provides an AI-native code editor and a hosted AI proxy. By creating an account or using the editor against our hosted API, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
Your account
- You're responsible for what happens under your account, including any keys you generate.
- One human per account. Share via Team plans, not by sharing credentials.
- You must be at least 13 (or your local age of majority) to register.
Acceptable use
You may not:
- Use the service to generate malware, spam, child sexual abuse material, or content that's illegal where you live or where we operate.
- Probe, scan, or stress-test the service in ways that affect availability for others.
- Resell raw API access without a separate agreement.
Plans, fair use, refunds
- "Unlimited" Pro means fair use. We'll warn before throttling and never silently degrade.
- Subscriptions auto-renew. Cancel anytime via the Console; you keep access until the end of the billing period.
- Refunds within 14 days for monthly plans, no questions asked.
Your content
You own your code, your chats, and anything generated on your behalf. We claim no rights to it. We do not train on your data.
Service warranties
The service is provided "as is". AI output can be wrong — review before shipping. We aim for 99.5% monthly uptime but make no SLAs outside of Team contracts.
Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, our liability is capped at what you paid us in the prior 12 months. We're not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
Termination
Either side can terminate at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms; serious violations (abuse, fraud) terminate immediately. On termination we delete your data within 30 days, except what we must retain for legal/financial reasons.
Changes
We'll post material changes here and notify Pro/Team accounts by email at least 14 days before they take effect.
